Annex 18 and ICAO Doc 9284 Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air.

The basic provisions of Annex 18 are amplified by the ICAO Doc 9284 Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air (ICAO TI).

New versions of these instructions are issued every uneven year.

IATA DG Regulations

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) produces a guideline called the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (IATA DGR). This guideline reproduces the requirements of the ICAO TIs and may in some cases be more restrictive than the ICAO TIs.

The new version of the IATA DGR is issued annually.
