Flight conditions
The remote pilot shall perform the flight in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2019/947 in a such manner that does not endanger the safety of other aircrafts, persons or property on the ground and so that the protection of the environment against noise and emissions from pollutants from an unmanned aircraft is ensured.
The remote pilot during flight is required to always observe the environment, check for the presence of obstacles or other aircraft operation and avoid it based on the principle „detect and avoid“
Within the uncontrolled airspace (class G), UAS operation is possible only within 120 m (400 ft) above the highest obstacle in the vicinity of 30 m from the unmanned aircraft.
Within the boundaries of aerodrome traffic zones (ATZ), UAS operation may be performed under the condition of coordination of the relevant flight with the operator of such an airport.
In controlled airspace of an airport (CTR) you my only fly within open category further than 5,6 km from the airport and only up to 30m height. (Bratislava, Košice, Žilina, Piešťany, Poprad-Tatry).
The remote pilot must ensure that the unmanned aircraft is installed with at least one green flashing light for the purpose of visibility of the unmanned aircraft at night. The Remote identification must be installed on all UAS of category C1, C2, C3 in the open category and all UAS flying within the specific category.
