UAS Pre-Flight check

Before flying with UAS, the remote pilot shall:

1. get acquainted with the current meteorological situation https://www.shmu.sk/sk;
2. get acquainted with the given airspace https://gis.lps.sk/;
3. check for the current valid Geo-Zones
4. if the flight is to be performed in a restricted airspace, the remote pilot shall verify whether the airspace is active in the AUP and UUP reports from the website of the Armed Forces of the Slovak republic https://www.mil.sk/352/vyuzitie-vzdusneho-priestoru.php.
5. in controlled airspace (CTR) without permission, flights can be carried out within a minimum radius of 5.6 km from the airport reference point and only up to a height of 30 m.
6. if you are in the ATZ airport area, you can only fly with the consent of the ATZ operator.
7. in areas where the third and higher levels of protection apply, permission from the nature conservation authority is required to carry out a flight.
