Remote pilot exam

Remote pilot is required to hold a certificate of competence in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2019/947 according to the category of operation.

For flying in subcategories A1 and A3, the remote pilot is required to pass the online theoretical knowledge test A1/A3 if he operates an unmanned aircraft weighing more than 250 g.

For flying in subcategory A2, the remote pilot is required to complete the online training course A1/A3 together with the additional theoretical knowledge examination A2. In the A2 subcategory, only such unmanned aircraft can be operated, which is marked with a C2 class identification label.

To operate in the specific category according to standard scenarios (STS01, STS02), it is necessary to pass the STS theoretical knowledge exam.
